EEBA has kicked off their student scholarship fundraising efforts with the first special “Bring a Student to EEBA” scholarship fund, dedicated to underwriting the cost of attending the 2018 High Performance Home Summit by winners of the 2018 U.S Department of Energy Race to Zero Student Design Competition. There will be at least 15 students participating in the 2018 Summit from 7 different winning schools.
These student scholarships are dependent on donations from our supporters - the individuals who recognize the huge labor shortage facing builders and the need for these talented students to become the next generation of building science professionals.
Each scholarship of $1500 provides one student with full Summit registration and meals, double-occupancy for three hotel nights, tickets for a networking event and a dinner cruise, and $500 for transportation.
EEBA is accepting donations in any amount to help fund these scholarships. We will continue the scholarship funding beyond the 2018 Summit to enable any interested students to attend and participate in our regional trainings and in future High Performance Home Summits – in 2019 and beyond.
